Virus Help Please

Looks like i`ve got a virus as i cant open any programmes,eg itunes etc.
I have an acer laptop running windows 7 and whatever it is looks like it somehow shut down my avast anti virusfirst! That wont restart either.Tried downloading avg but it wont let me install it nor will it let me install hijackthis.Its let me run cccleaner but not malwarebytes.
Any suggestions?Seems its attacking .exe files.:mad:

Have you tried starting it in Safe Mode with Networking to see what happens?
It only loads the basics but will also give you the option to restore to a previous time before the problems started (may not work but might be worth a try).:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
