I am one of the unfortunate ones who will actually need petrol tomorrow. If not will not be able to drive to work-well that is hoping there would be enough in the tank to get me home tomorrow.January Grocery 11/3740

all thats happened so far is that they have agree'd to a stike, this doesnt mean as so i understand it talks are being held tommorrow we'll probably know more about any strikes going ahead friday.
as for cameron, its in his best interests to panick us, after all, all this panick buying is seeing an increase to his purse if this strike doesnt go ahead! hell just for the sake of it he may aswell add 50p more onto fuel as people can afford it on a threat of strike.0 -

Telling people to stock up is actually a shrewd move, there are only about 8000 fuel stations left in the uk and by getting everyone to fill up before a strike increases the fuel stocks tenfold, by this i mean that if a strike goes ahead the fuel stored in the garages and in our tanks will see us through without any major problems.
The comment above about the government getting more revenue doesnt stack up because people will only use what they need, they are not buying extra fuel just buying in bulk.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -

And if anything, some might drive less if they're worried about refueling again which means lower revenues.0 -
They have give a week's notice. As they have not done that yet, it seems Easter break will be over by then. Next 2 weeks are school holidays.
I won't be surprised if there is no strike at the end. The false panic already created will reduce the real panic when actual strike comes.
If everyone is prepared for possible strike then Unite might not see a point in doing a strike (and not many people are sympathizing with £45k/yr drivers)Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -

Thats a good salary but I have never seen a petrol tanker being driven by some dangerous half wit doing their best to cause an accident.
I am pretty sure that they get a lot more training than your average plonker with a driving licence.
They have not even said they are striking yet.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

If you had a 30 tonne bomb trailing behind you, you'd be driving carefully
I believe they said they could bring the military up to the required standard with 3 days training."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
