Perhaps you had better clarify this point Dave.
On the ticket, who did it say the payment had to be made to? If it says the Council then that is a different ball game!
If it says TCP, then the above advice stands.0 -
It doesn't matter who the disabled bay belonged to, this parking company can not 'fine' you (or anyone for that matter) and particularly for parking in a bay which does not fall under the same rules as a public disabled bay (no rules whatsoever in fact), but nevertheless you are entitled to park in regardless of whether your badge was displayed or not.
They would get horribly beaten in court, and they know it, which is why they won't even bother trying.
Do not appeal, unless its using your stick and the attendant's testicles - that's probably a better appeal method to be honest.Je Suis Cecil.0 -

You need to just look at my post #12, Dave.
And there is nothing to worry about.0 -
Hi pogofish, in answer to your query, the ticket does not mention Council anywhere, what it says is for making payment......Send Cheque or postal order to Town And Country Parking Ltd, 5 South Inch Business Centre, Shore Road, Perth PH2 8BW, its not council related at all by the look of it, I have just been advised that this company were employed by Tesco locally and were eventually discharged as they kept booking the Tesco managers and staff when in work for parking more than 3 hours, eventually they were dismissed. Have decided to refuse payment and will advise them when they contact me that I will see them in Court with my solicitor, we will see how that grabs them for booking an OAP
Thanks again guys

I think you need to take ALL the advice on board and that is to IGNORE, by contacting them you will be sucked in to the scam, that is how it works, by making you want to get one in yourself.
The only proven method is to completely ignore, not tell them this or tell them that as then they have a conformation that they have got the right target.
Think of it as getting challenged to a game of chess by a chess champion, the champ can not beat you if you refuse to play.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
You should be able to sue here if you are interested, Dave. Worth a few hundred, probably. They sure as hell won't take you to court, but you could take them. Their level of integrity can be surmised by the fact they got the sack from Tesco's. These people really are just semi legal, plausible cowboys.0

Hi give them FA, you mention in your # 11 posting about collecting money off them and that you wish more people would do that, could you expand on that please....0
