Galaxy Note on Full Monty from buymobilephones.net?
My 24 month contract with T-Mobile is up and I'm looking for a new deal and an upgrade from my trusty Desire. I'm looking for an Android phone with an HD screen and a memory card slot and remarkably, although I only have those two requirements, unless I'm missing something only the Note meets my spec. I'm still considering whether or not I can live with the size.
Anyhow, T-Mobile don't do the Note, so I've looked elsewhere for a deal (preferably with all you can eat data as I'm used to a 3GB limit and my usage will only go up with the recent purchase of a SlingBox and use of Sky Go). buymobilephones.net do 3 deals on the £36 Full Monty, a free phone, a free phone plus £45 auto cashback or a free phone plus £162 cashback by multiple redemption. In all honesty, the cashback is nice but I'm not awfully concerned as the deal without cashback looks acceptable - if the cashback works (and I've had many in the past that did), it's a bonus. But I do have some questions:
1. This deal is not available on their upgrade section. If not available as an upgrade, can I port my old T-Mobile number to a new T-Mobile account?
2. £36 Full Monty direct from T-Mobile gives unlimited T-Mobile minutes, but is 5000 minutes via buymobilephones. Are there likely to be other differences? My concerns would be 'fair use' data limit or a restriction on tethering (neither apply direct from T-Mobile).
3. Has the data speed cap issue alluded to on another thread been resolved yet?
4. Any other suggestions about phones, deals or networks I should be considering? (Unlimited data, HD screen and memory card slot being the important considerations).

There are several resolutions that fall into 'HD' category....I'm looking for an Android phone with an HD screen ...
One of the most common is 1280x720 - the one that Xperia S has.
There are some other phones with this resolution and a card slot, but I think they aren't available in UK:

The Sony doesn't have a memory card slot (alas) and we don't yet know if the S3 wiill have one either (the Nexus doesn't, strangely). The HTC Rezound looks like my ideal phone, if only there was a UK model. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

AFAIK at t-mobile you can do this only in two steps via another network PAYG: Moving my number from T-Mobile to T-Mobile!1. This deal is not available on their upgrade section. If not available as an upgrade, can I port my old T-Mobile number to a new T-Mobile account?0
