We were told 3 hours at least for email confirmation. That was at 9:15am. We got it before the 3 hours though.
Does anyone know whether seeticket have access to any really decent seats or do all the scummy touts get the decent ones so we're not even in with a chance?
Last year I had tiered seats at the front side of the stage (block 18)which was a great view. Are these top class seats? I had to ge them from ebay but wiated a few weeks and got them just above normal price.
I'm a bit nervous waiting so long to know where our seats are.0 -
arushofblood wrote:They often DONT have the tickets ! They put up listings now while there's all the hype, sell their 'tickets' for huge amounts then buy the tickets required themselves from other sellers nearer the date when they're a lot cheaper !!0

BIG word of warning!!!!!!!
If anybody didn't manage to get tickets DON'T buy them off ebay just yet.
People who buy now and pay by Paypal are only covered for 40 days after paying, so if the seller leaves eBay, they leave with your money!!
My advice would be to buy nearer the time, or ask the seller if you can pay nearer the date so you are BOTH covered.
But please, don't buy now and pay now or you could get stung. There are great sellers out there, but some are just after your money and it's hard to tell between the two.
Good Luck!0 -
keefa wrote:How can they possible say on their auction what block number they have and don't you run the risk if buying from them of not actually getting a ticket. I would deff not risk it. Have you seen the amount they are going for. Ebay should not allow them to do this surely. There are genuine people out there that want tickets and cannot get them.
Btw, I'm not saying that ALL of these sellers don't have the tickets. There are genuine sellers out there too.
Yes, you certainly do run the risk of not getting these tickets at all. It's easier for them if the gigs are standing! Thing is though, they've only said what block the tickets are in, this gives them more hope of actually buying the tickets themselves in the future when the hype is less and the prices are lower. Also, I'm sure if the seller couldn't get hold of Block D for instance but offered Block E with a polite email the buyer wouldn't complain !0 -
lab-lover wrote:well done jon, did u get tickets for newcastle? thanks again for tips.
Yes, managed to grab them for Newcastle. My wife was trying at the same time and I managed to get them....she never did get off the 'server busy page'. Now I've just got to get the cash off everyone lol!0 -
As meerustar has pointed out.... you are not covered by Paypal for these tickets. So a seller can say they have the tickets ( when they don't ), sell them for huge amounts with the promise of them being dispatched in December, December comes and no sign of the tickets, no sign of the seller and no sign of your money cause the 60 day insurance period has passed !0

I ordered a pair for Manchester, I wanted NEC though. Then better ones at the NEC became available...so I got them.
Midweek though.
Then I saw the Saturday night at Manchester...so I bought them.
Now I have 3 pairs of tickets for 3 different gigs.
Can't rememeber the exact dates for which venue but will be selling two pairs of £45 tickets if anyone is interested?
I 100% didn't buy them to re-sell, just kept seeing better option and bought them.
£100 per pair. PM if interested and I'll post the dates when I get confirmation e-mails back.0 -
