How big is the arena though? I know it's all well and good saying that we are miles away, but I've been to places before, sat at the back and still got a good view. That being said, I don't suppose the Dome is small - lol

And remember, you got your tickets £20 cheaper than me!!!!

Kev - taken directly from the o2 website, should we :rotfl: or  :-

    The O2 Trivia
    * The O2 has an overall diameter of 365 metres, an internal diameter of 320 metres, and a circumference of a kilometre and is 50 metres high at its central point
    * Twelve steel masts are 100 metres high
    * Should The O2 ever be turned upside down:
o Niagara Falls would take about 15 minutes to fill it!
o It would take 3.8 billion pints of beer!
    o Or 1100 Olympic-sized swimming pools!
    * The O2 equals thirteen Albert Halls
    * The O2 equals ten St Paul’s Cathedrals
    * The O2 equals two old Wembley Stadiums
    * 18,000 double-decker buses could fit into The O2
    * The O2 is as high as Nelson’s Column
    * The O2 could accommodate the Eiffel Tower lying on its side
    * The O2 could fit 12 football pitches or 72 tennis courts
    * The Entertainment District within The O2 will be the same length & breadth as Bond Street
  • Yep duff tickets from seetickets too.

Originally got block 407 for the first Thursday in London at about 11am. Then as I clicked complete the new dates were listed so got in quick for another 4 for the additional Saturday. But alas in 104 with these tickets..

Oh well will try and bag some more tickets for other venues and cherry pick my seats out the bunch, already have a queue of friends a mile long wanting tickets.

At least seetickets didnt cancel either of my orders (think its because I rang to cancel 2 off my original booking of 4 for Thursday to keep me under the allowance limit.)

Enjoy the show peeps.. Just need to dig out that spotting scope I have somewhere in the house.
  • Now please, I'm really NOT trying to gloat here, just trying to reassure people....

Theres a gig at the weekend where tickets were snapped up and sold for £100+ more than the face value. For the past month or two Ticketmaster had been showing 'Sold Out'. You might have guessed that I spend most of my time sat at this here PC ;) Well, EVERY hour or so I sit here, I check for tickets going 'On Sale' again. It's just a routine I've gotten myself into. A couple of days ago, low and behold, tickets were available. I was quick and prepared. Hit the 'Buy' button and was offered Row B tickets. I've just taken delivery via Royal Mail.

Now, what I'm trying to say ( despite me having Take That tickets to sell ! ) is DON'T GIVE UP !! You're not happy with your tickets ? You've so much time to sell them and get better ones. You've not got tickets ? You've so much time to get some.

Get prepared. It's like camping out for months at your computer ! If you're that desperate, you'll do it !! And you WILL get rewarded :D

T o B - I'd kinda feel guilty though selling my tickets on ebay... what do you put, £25 tickets in block 417?? I can't say row U, nobody will buy them, but if I don't say row U I'll probably get negged

As it is, you've been led to believe that going for 'top price seats' would give you a fair chance of getting seats nearer to the stage, you're stuck with tickets you don't particularly want but SeeTickets won't allow you to return them ( how come they get excluded from the 7 day distance buying thing ? )

My only experience with SeeTickets was when i bought tickets to see Donny Osmond (i'll take any comments on the chin :p ) i got through within minutes and got what i thought would / should be excellent tickets. I didn't know then that they allocate seats later. When my allocation was near the back of the stall area, i phoned them and complained about there method, how my daughter wouldn't be able to see etc (laid it on a bit) and they DID refund my money, so is it worth a chance? especailly as other tickets seem to be appearing?

    p.s Donny's touring again in October:j

Just sell them as you bought them, if people ask what row, then tell them. But you don't need to list it!

    From an earlier reply:
    Hi Lisav,

Firstly you need to congratulate yourself for getting 2 lots of tickets in the first place !

If I were you, and this is just my opinion, I would sell the 411 as quickly as you can whilst there is all the hype and no more dates have been announced.

Now, you can either be 'a little discreet, and sell the tickets as 'top price', as they are, though clearly indicating that the tickets have yet to be allocated and you have no say as to the position. If people choose to buy your tickets knowing this, and they will, then it's up to them.

Usually if I have good tickets, I really go out of my way to produce a 'bodged' seating plan which really sells the position of the tickets. If the tickets aren't all that great, and I've had some at the back of venues too, then I don't make a great fuss of their position. I leave out the seating plan and just state the block that the tickets are in. It's then down to the buyer to find out for themselves, often I suspect they don't and they still buy the ticket.

All this is if you want to try and make a profit on your tickets. You will have no trouble selling them at their original price, someone will snap them up.

*lightbulb* I've got two sets of not the best for Glasgow. I could sell both sets and buy some up the front somewhere :)

Just to reassure anyone who has seats near the back at the MEN. Last time TT played there, we were very back row in block 208, and we could see the boys fine (although they were small lol) and it didn't ruin the experience at all.
