I got my allocation for my two sets of two tickets at the O2 arena last night, I got row A of block 419 - which seems ok and then I got row K of block 411 where you may as well be sat outside!!!!

I doubt anyone will want to buy those seats so what do you suggest I do??

    Hi Lisav,

Firstly you need to congratulate yourself for getting 2 lots of tickets in the first place !

If I were you, and this is just my opinion, I would sell the 411 as quickly as you can whilst there is all the hype and no more dates have been announced.

Now, you can either be 'a little discreet, and sell the tickets as 'top price', as they are, though clearly indicating that the tickets have yet to be allocated and you have no say as to the position. If people choose to buy your tickets knowing this, and they will, then it's up to them.

Usually if I have good tickets, I really go out of my way to produce a 'bodged' seating plan which really sells the position of the tickets. If the tickets aren't all that great, and I've had some at the back of venues too, then I don't make a great fuss of their position. I leave out the seating plan and just state the block that the tickets are in. It's then down to the buyer to find out for themselves, often I suspect they don't and they still buy the ticket.

All this is if you want to try and make a profit on your tickets. You will have no trouble selling them at their original price, someone will snap them up.

Apologies if somebody has already mentioned this but it looks like 'seetickets' are selling tickets again for certain nights. I've had a peep (in the hope that some would come available again as the greedy people get their over-allocations cancelled) and have got as far as the credit card input page (paticularly for MEN Manchester) but it wasn't for the venue I wanted (Brum) so I backed out (just wanted to see if anything actually happened).

Might be a red-herring but I hope somebody can get something out of it !!!

I just find all this silly. And remember before I'm slagged off for saying that 'cause I'm a 'tout'.... Just look back over this thread, there's loads of 'genuine fans' now that are disappointed with their ticket allocation, due to TT representatives and promoters themselves, and now wish to sell their tickets to get better ones. And one of the few ways for them to do this is on Ebay !
