Some people..
I work 8am to 6pm and can't make personal calls during this time. Given the dealer only opens 9am to 5pm (he's an independent one man band) it puts me at a disadvantage.
Plus emails provide an audit trail.0 -

Lacetti gives me a relatively new reliable car.
I now drive like an old man though.

Old man? Won't last long.
I had a Nubira (previous version of the Lacetti) as a second car, and I hooned that about like I'd nicked it. Never managed to break it either. You don't need a 'good' car to have fun.0 -

I take it you don't get a break for lunch then? Sorry, I'm not having a go but this makes my blood boil when I hear people complaining then put up barriers when they have to do the leg work.0 -

An update:
After some delay, the garage has figured out the problem and is replacing the ABS rings once the parts arrive. They can't figure out what's causing the friction on the rear passenger wheel and causing it to heat up/smoke.
It's getting to four weeks since I bought the car and I'm nervous getting in it, given the issues with the brakes. That said, the garage has, thus far, been helpful, if not slow to try and resolve the issues.
I've done 2.5k miles since I bought it (commuting, plus visiting folks) - if the garage request payment for repairs (my understanding is currently that they won't) - where do I stand?
If the rear wheel issue becomes worse and they can't/don't fix, can I refuse the car? It was there from the day after purchase, temporarily went away after the stripped and greased it.0
