this is to anyone who has started espacially comb who started on 3rd

    congrats on getting the job

any chance you put some info up on the thread regarding what your first couple of days were like what they entailed

did they ask you to bring in details of bank account / sort code anything to do with p45/payroll?

    any tips/problems you encountered

    thanks
Your first day is an induction day bank details, uniform, clock/security pass, what block you will be wotrking in then you are split into groups of about 25 for the rest of the 2 weeks. then for 2 weeks you are going to be doing an NVQ all very straight forward you have a test at the end of the 2 weeks and another day in the theatre for another induction nothing to worry about on the test all common sense about what you have learned in the previous weeks. then you will be taken to the block you are in and told what time to turn up the following monday

Been told a few different things but it's out of our hands. Would be nice to find some who had to work a notice before they started work with manpower.

Does anyone have the man power phone number for castle brom?

    Thanks

some1 said that there are 150 new starters on monday, so if it takes 2 weeks to sort them out with training and uniform and stuff, then the next lot of phonecalls should be in about a week and a half ennit!... i just hope they dont reach there limit before ive been called, i can just imagine my name on a massive list towards the bottom, as they call the name above me then sumone shouts, "thats it NOMORE" .... aha ahh well as justD said... its out of our hands.

That is incorrect. I have several friends who have started, They start about 120 approx, thats taking into account people who don't turn up/change their minds, so it's 100 people approx, who are then broken into groups of 25.
