Ok I've been a passenger on this forum but thought I would join and contribute. Seems there are a lot of people here really nervous and I have to admit I'm on of those now. I had my interview yesterday and received an email today saying I had successfully completed all stages of the recruitment process, yet in the next paragraph that due to high volume of applicants they will be looking at overall performance before informing if I'm successful.
Is this generic email sent out before they contact you with a start date, and if you have successfully completed all stages why make out that there's a possibility you may not now be successful.
Can anyone help clarify this ?0 -
right this is how i see it, talked to the drug testing guy he said hes testing 50 per day so thats 250 per week, say 50 fail that leaves 200 i see on here there taking 100 on per week,so looking at how people have waited longer than others they must be taking on the best overall in perfomance, so say 100 per week will go into the successful but not yet taken on pool, and if say next weeks applicants score better than someone in the pool i think they will take the best available so it could be a long wait for some
That can't possibly be true, as they hold two interview sessions a day, i havn't seen more than 12 people in any one session, so by my deducition they can only interview 24 people a day. In my session, during the drug screening there was only 3 of us! and thats not an exaggeration.0 -
There were 3 of us being interviewed yesterday in one group. In 4 hours I saw 3 groups of 3 (one before and one after) considering I was there for 4 hour almost its unlikely they had 50 interviews. I asked the drug screening guy if he was busy , I think he said a number in the twenties and some had failed to show .
Punk was your email the same one I received ?0 -
it is like a revolving door tho, I turned up suited and booted and there were about 20 people sat waiting for manual assessments. then there were the newbies in the classrooms going through induction or pera training.0

I may be wrong though!0

well thats funny when i got called in for interview the offered me 6 different hours
and at your figures they would struggle to get the 100 per week after interview/testing fails so you would have had a start date straight away
also didnt you see other batches when doing pera training punk and if numbers are so low why then is there two testers and about 8 interviewers
i was in a group of 6 and there was 6 either side
I got offered morning or afternoons. There was 6 of at the interview, 3 of those left before the drug screening!
Again i may be wrong, i did see the group doing the pre-start forms n test for pera, but again there was only 6 people. Strange one.
And yes its just the generic email regarding you have passed etc0 -
thats still dosn't explain what myself and others have seen recently as a couple of days ago, I had 3 people finish the interviews, same for a couple of other people on here.0
