Would you say though that everyone who passes the manual test will be given an interview or do they have the right to close it down once a successful number of applicants have been reached?0
-
God its awful trying to analyse this process but they have 12 per hour in for manual yet only three (per hour) for face to face interview.
That's 120 interviews per week
480 manual assessments
The start dates could just be down to production factors, once you are on the payroll its going to get a lot of people down to be laid off after just the 4 weeks they are obliged to give you.
Remember its only a one week rolling contract, don't expect not to get laid off0 -

They wouldn't be recruiting 1k people if they weren't confident they had work.
I think it's a case of they are sorting out the preivous batch of 100, and once they are sorted i reckon people will start getting calls.0 -
Do you think this will lead to full time positions after 2 years ?0
-
Yes after 2 years you will be employed by jaguar on a permanent basis. At induction there are approximately 120 people give or take a few who don't turn up. Quite a few from land rover come over but the rest from the manpower recruitment process. The induction only lasts for 1 day (Monday), then it's the Pera training for two weeks (lots of tests during the two weeks as I understand).
At induction you should be told where you will be posted. At the induction you will be split into groups, one group will go to health surveillence, another will go to ID's and work wear and another will have a little factory tour. Each group will switch so each group does them all. Good luck to all.0 -
or 112 its above 100 anyway.0

Don't stress mate, I found it more relaxed than the manual , the literacy and numeric tests are very basic and are for the training provider not for your application. Just take your time to think of your answers, and listen out for subtle prompts .
I had mine this week but I'm now in a dilemma as I have been offered a permanent job today0 -
Sometimes the questions are complicated but the answers are simple. And if you're wondering what COMB stands for...CITY ON MY BACK0
