I get that, but i was told they were recruiting 1100 people, 400 of those were from the recruitment drive at soihull who didn't get a spot there.
I was told that they were looking at those three shifts, but it wasn't set in stone as the unions were still hammering out the final decision.
As for the pay rates, it's ok mate, for me it was never about the money that much, just about getting back to work.
I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, so im just waiting till i get a start date. When i do, the i will ask for the pay rate, don't want to get excited about nothing. I get that it is a generic e-mail they send out.
It's good to know at least, that i no longer have to jump through anymore hoops, and i have done as well as i have.
Fair enough. Good luck anyway.0 -
I guess they look at the whole overall performance from the day we took our online tests, manual assessments to the final interview. If you didn't complete the manual successfully enough then we wouldn't have been invited for the interview... which means the only way to really flop this now is that if you said something totally off topic in the interview lol.. Its a waiting and fingers crossed game now.0

A question that seems to get asked a lot is, Do they prefer people with car production experience?
I'd say it doesn't matter, I could count on one hand, the amount of people with car production experience, a huge amount have come from the building industry (myself included).0 -

Excellent way if deducing things. I'm hoping if iv done well enough to get this far, then iv done well enough to secure a role with them. But like i said before, its good to know you don't have to do anymore. I don't think i was off topic, i did struggle a LITTLE on one of the 18 questions, but nothing major, One lad sat down for his interview, spoke for bout 2 mins, just got up and left, not to be seen again.0 -

Like most the others on here, im still waiting.
Blitz the manual assessment, and wrote my ideas for improving the process before the time limit had been reached.
Thought i did well on the interview, but who knows?!
I see others on here who had interviews after me getting placements, so im not holding my breath.Mortgage deposit fund: £4000
