@Punk84 is it best you tell them your available to start immediately?
I don't know pal, i told them i needed one day off to attend a wedding towards the end of this month, when he asked about holidays, but it will be during the weekend and if i get in im assuming i will be on the two week training so it wouldn't be a problem0 -
I got told a week on nights, week of early and a week of days, but that is yet to be confirmed. As for the pay i can't remember0

YES! JUST GOT MY EMAIL THROUGH! PASSED THE INTERVIEW!!!
Excuse the caps, im just over the moon!!!0 -
Well done mate. When do you start?0

Punk84, I've been transfer from Land Rover to Jag, going on XF, as far as i'm being told they won't be on nights at all, unless they start flying off the shelf's (which they aren't). From what I can tell, they are training up another shift for XF, so we can run 2 day shifts, (mornings and afternoons). If we run as 2 day shifts, I'll come out with about the same, If it's just one shift of days, i'll be on roughly £300 less a month (before taxes).0

I can send you the pay rates if you like in a PM?
I get that, but i was told they were recruiting 1100 people, 400 of those were from the recruitment drive at soihull who didn't get a spot there.
I was told that they were looking at those three shifts, but it wasn't set in stone as the unions were still hammering out the final decision.
As for the pay rates, it's ok mate, for me it was never about the money that much, just about getting back to work.
I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, so im just waiting till i get a start date. When i do, the i will ask for the pay rate, don't want to get excited about nothing. I get that it is a generic e-mail they send out.
It's good to know at least, that i no longer have to jump through anymore hoops, and i have done as well as i have.0
