It was in the newspaper and on tv that they are expanding the emc plant and I'm just wondering if that's why it's shutting in December for a while? I wonder if they will wait untill it's completed before giving people start dates..Has anybody contacted jlr using the email address that manpower give out ?If so did u get a reply?0

I sent them an email, they replied with this below
Hi Michael,
We can confirm that you have passed your interview.
We are awaiting your disclosure Scotland results before we can progress your application.
We do not have any start dates at present as these opportunities are in preparation for 2016.

That sounds good mate. So does that mean your in and it's just a waiting game? Going to email them tomorrow myself , didn't want to seem like I was pestering them as they are very busy people with a lot of applicants. I'll post my reply when I get one.0

Hi, got my assessment at JLR on tuesday. Have done it once before a few years ago and remamber having to suggest 5 improvements after the manual test and struggling a bit with it. Could anyone offer any suggestions?
cheers in advance0 -

Is it production operative position that u applied for trigger? I just had to put some parts onto a cylinder head following specific instructions. I didn't have to suggest any improvements, was just asked if I enjoyed it.0

Yeah it's production operative. Last time i was there i had to build a clutch pedal, and then they asked for 5 improvements that could be made to the process.0

There wasn't anybody in my group that got asked that question. You basically watch the demonstration of what to do and then you have a set time limit with the tools and instuctions that you have to follow Infront of you. I don't think it's important that you finish, just that what u do is correct. I think they like to see you can follow instructions. No questions tho. Hope this helps0

Thanks v. much mate, hopefully they'll skip it this time0
