  • Hey guys , Had my interview last monday (passed my manual assesment already) so this was a question based/filling forms out interview , was told to wait 5-10 days for a reply but nothing as of yet. I phoned manpower and they just told me it will take alot longer than that. Anyone have a guideline of how long it will take? I'm taking no news as good news at the moment but i can't stop worrying about it.

With my manual assesment i got a phonecall the next day with a formal interview date/time , this is just taking alot longer.

    Hello again .
    I just recived this email:
    Hi

We are pleased to inform you that you have passed all stages of the recruitment process.

In preparation for the next phase of opportunities at JLR, we would like to invite you to attend a pre-employment assessment evening. The evening will be run by team members from the training provider (Babcock) who will carry out the initial training programme once you join JLR at the EMC.

Your pre-employment session will be on Thursday 5th November 2015 at 6pm at the address shown below. If you are driving to the session, please park in the Visitors’ car park which is situated outside the Innovation Centre.

Please report to the reception where Babcock will collect you from.
The evening session will last approximately 3 hours. (Please wear casual clothing.)

You must bring with you photographic ID (e.g. Passport, Photo driving license) and your National Insurance number. If you have certificates for qualifications you did not provide earlier, please remember to bring them along, including G.C.S.E’s and A Levels.

During the 3 hours you can expect a pre-employment session with Babcock staff which will include English and Maths assessments. The sole purpose of these assessments is to determine the most appropriate development programme for you once you begin your role at JLR.

    What can i expect there?
