    Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.

    congratulations Bigden well done!!!.....and can anyone put some light on this question i have?? when you take the further online assessments at jaguar are the 29 questions identical to those 29 questions we answered first time around or is that the questions are similar and of the same format?? as i'm hearing different feedback some saying the 29 questions are identical and others saying they are different can anyone confirm which is true thanks

    I remember i had similar questions like in the original test there was a question like:
    Look at this line:
    |
    |

    If it is shorter than 4cm, enter 4;
    If it is longer than 16cm, enter 6; and if it is between 4cm and 16cm enter 416.

    Now i had a similar question to the above but the line was 3cm instead of 4cm and i had other similar questions as in the original test.

    maybe there a pool of questions that is randomly generated and you get some questions that you have done before.

    But i !!!!ed the online exams and the magnet test, i just failed the brake test as i took along time to realise that i had to hold the servo central on the jig as to not let it hang.

    Bit of an update.

    Apllied late last year, did assesments earlier this year then nothing even though their last e-mail said they'd be in touch within 14 days.
    Then five months later (some kind of record for manpower) they contacted me asking if I'm still interested in working for JLR.
    Within a week I'd had an interview, resat the online test in controlled conditions and did the drug test. The next day they announced the castle bromwich jobs.
    I'm still waiting and to be honest don't expect much as missed the cut last time despite passing the tests. I'd still take the job if the offered one though.

    I'm more or less in the same position as you garfster. I applied in March to Solihull and passed all the tests and interviews and was told I would get the job. Waited and waited and waited some more but nothing happened. Was offered a chance to re-apply at castle brom site as for some reason as solihull had no more vacancies :huh: so I have taken all the tests again last month and was told i would get a reply within 2 weeks but still haven't received a phone call or e-mail letting me know where I stand. Wish they would just tell us straight away instead of keeping ppl holding on!!!!!!

    I kind of wish that i had applied later and read this thread as i applied when the announcement was made and had my test on the 30th july and failed because of the brake assembly which i think is paramount to succeeding to the next level, at least some guys on here are learning from other mistakes which is a good thing.

    But i think its a shame that manpower just rely on you passing these stupid tests instead of relying on experience.
