Hey sorry I'm new here so this might have already been covered, I have my manual assessment tomorrow. I currently have a job which requires 4 weeks notice if I was to leave. Are Manpower okay with this or do you need to be ready to go without a moments notice. Also I do not drive will that affect my chances as its an hour and fifteen minutes on public transport.... thanks

I'm not telling you to lie, but I would not be telling them that.

Before I did the online tests it asked me how I would travel and I ticked, train and buses and when they asked my notice period I put 4 weeks. hmmm worried now :(

Not necessarily, I know of people who had actually started and been working for a couple of months, only to be got rid of when the checks came back.

Called manpower today and said they are still waiting for my criminal check to come back, I had my interview on the 14th April. This waiting game is killing me

I think they are lying to you matey. I've been at Solihull for 8 weeks now and I had a call 2 weeks ago from manpower asking for some more information about references etc and was told after that finally all my references checked out but were still waiting on my criminal check not that it will effect me !

Don't be fooled it's very hard work 40-44 cars a hour isn't as easy as it sounds !

I think they are too as I have been given several different answers including that one as to why it's taking so long, dnt know why they can't be honest 7 to 8 weeks without a courtesy call is unacceptable!
