    Hi jagojon,

Cheers for letting me know..... I only wondered because all the posts I've read so far about "the call" seem to be on a Thursday, but at least I now know that's not the case.....

How are you getting on ??

Trainer said today loads more jobs tobco from Solihull and castle brom.

Sit tight , keep calling and good luck

Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted on here now but just thought I'd give a bit of info regards jobs etc. I myself started at Castle Brom back in August and am really enjoying the job. It's hard work but very rewarding. I've made some good friends and don't dread going to work as much as in previous jobs.
Anyway without wanting to be a bearer of bad news I just thought I'd let you guys know that there are no more jobs at the Castle Brom site, not now and not for the foreseeable future. We had a team talk yesterday and it was explained that all 900 jobs have been filled and everybody is now on course to complete their PERA apprenticeship. Nothing was mentioned about Solihull but I just thought I'd let you know so you're not holding out for Castle Brom. Good luck in getting a job anyway people, I wish you could all get a job here!
  • Hi there guys Im new to this forum but Just to let you know i had my final interview on the 14th of march & i got a phone call last night from manpower at about 6.30 to offer me a Job & i start on the 22nd of april.HAPPY DAYS.:D:D:D
My interview was on the 13th and I still haven't had a call :(

Ok I think , there is a huge amount of tests and paperwork, but head down and get on with it, some of its quite enjoyable and Jlr want to help you be the best you can be.

Quick heads up to anyone about to start but isn't good at maths

You need to be able to work out averages, range of numbers, surface area and percentages, you are allowed a calculator but it doesn't have a percent button. If your not good with numbers , finding out now would help.

    Good luck all
