Shuttle bus car park isn't on site you need to be at reception for 6.45 for a 7 start. They are huge on time keeping and will keep telling you. Late on first day not good !! Late at all is bad enough as it costs £50k a minute to stop the track I was told.
Who told you first bus is at 7?. Not saying your wrong but it don't make sense as there is a 6am changeover.Whatever you do don't be late . They had four guys on standby at the side of the room on Monday morning in case someone didn't turn up.
Whenever I asked about the shuttle last week was told they run constantly although there wasn't any last week as it was shutdown
As for parking in a side road , you and the other 6500 on site? Wouldn't rely on that either!
Good luck,0 -
Matt, where have you been told to report and at what time?
If you have been told to meet at the car park at 7, then be at the car park at 7, if you have been told to meet at the main gate at 7 then be there at 7.
It always pays to aim to be early to account for anything unexpected and to orientate yourself for where you should be.
As said above DO NOT BE LATE!
As for parking on side roads, DON'T. At CB we have all been sent letters, saying anyone caught parking where they shouldn't (side roads, shop car parks etc), will be disciplined.0 -
