Hi guys congrats and good luck to all those that have a start date, i had my interview on the 6th of Feb and passed all stages email a week later also had the email saying all roles have been filled a few weeks later.
Anyway i phoned manpower this morning to see whats going on and if im still being considered for a job, the guy from manpower told me that the last of the interviews had taken place last week and that they are expecting to get a decision sometime this week, oh and that iam on the priority list whatever that means.
Im not very hopefull but you never know, not sure how their selection process works as i thought i did pretty well at the manual assessment was one of the quickest there plus at the interview the guy seemed pretty impressed especially as all my working life has been spent in the motor trade stripping, fitting, repairing and welding cars.
So unless the guy was telling me a pack of lies more people should be hearing soon about a start date.
    Good luck all :)

Yeah that's a little lie, my other half has an interview tomorrow-10 WEEKS AFTER the manual assessment!such a rigorous process it's crazy

Could you send it to me please?

Could you send me your email address and I will forward it. Would you and anyone else who have quoted my post with the email address in it please delete it as I have been told it is unwise to have it shown on a public forum . Cheers

Just a quick update, 7 months since i started, and i couldn't wish for a better job. Work is tough sometimes, but good banter, new friends, and lots of laughs and good pay make up for it. To those who are still waiting, don't give up, I had to apply several times over several different recruitment campaigns to get it. If i can do anybody who is half decent can. Good luck.

Overtime will depend on where they place you, Body In White not so much, I can't comment on other parts ou the plant, this is assuming you will be going to CB? Pay is again dependant on your shift, but myself in 7 months iv been there, iv just taken almost 17k which is including a few sat/ sun shifts but not many. Again you have to factor in, i am 10% higher than you lads, as i started before Jan. Alot of the lads are getting their STC, so as long as you get your work done, and graft, you will be fine. Good luck, I'm moving over the Solihull on the 8th. for about 6 or seven months and then may be coming back CB depending on production.
