Help! I must have pressed something wrong on my laptop...the background is now black. How do I get it back to 'normal'?

I'm not an expert but it sounds like you have gone into safe mode. If you switch it off as normal then back on again it should right itself.0

Flippin' 'ec this is the third time I've tried to reply to you!! the 'touch pad'? is too sensitive. (that's why I bought a mouse) When I'm in the middle of typing something it j!st goes back to my home page. could it have been that whilst your touchpad was playing up youve accidently turned your background image to black if it is

Windows 7 something (premium?) A 'techi' neighbour set this laptop up he put things on it that I don't really want. He also connected a wireless modem to my desktop upstairs and to this laptop. (I'm with Talk Talk):grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0
