Sold a phone for £29 on Ebay and got this mail earlier. Help.

    just make sure you get the item back, before refund. the buyer, if it is a scam, he may say he has sent it already, so it might be worth getting him to get proof of postage. if he is genuine, he wont have a prob doing this

    and email me the proof of postage so i can refund that aswell.
    Therefore he wouldn't lose any money and proof of postage would show how much he paid for sending it back.
    ok the seller would lose at having to pay it, but at least he wouldn't get scammed by the buyer. who i expect will be selling the phone on to someone else at a cost of more than he paid for it.

    Don't refund on proof of posting, you don't know what he has sent till you get it.
