Well done Vinny, you have hit a new low in your relentless pursuit of stifling rational debate. Its particularly sad because you are a representative of Utility Warehouse, you work in an official capacity and therefore its quite fair to judge a company by the people they employ.

You are an embarrassment to your company and do them a major disservice by writing such diatribe on a very popular public forum. If only you and your fellow reps (Nige/avenger apart) would act like adults and refrain from such behaviour it might reflect better on UW.

You are quite right Jimixbox. The BIG 3 should be believed whole heartedly that everything they say is without any question. They are always right.

Let no man question their authenticity.

    Investigation over!

UW's prices are some of the highest in the country, therefore discredited.

    Ah, that was easy.

How much did Cardew pay you to say that.:rotfl:

To be fair, your supplier doesn't generally have the cheapest prices by any means. They just tend to lure gullibles in with the cashback. And I believe you left Eon to join SP. Oh dear. :p

You're quite right, time will tell, I think you seem to have missed the point though (funny that ), Keggs said the comparison sites have been discredited, however they havent been. They may be under investigation but that isnt the same as being discredited is it?

When the investigation comes to a conclusion, and if that conclusion is the comparison sites are pulling a fast one THEN they will have been discredited.

Using that logic, I could conduct an investigation into UW high prices and as soon as I start that investigation (or as soon as a newspaper reports it) then UW will have been discredited.

    Time to start investigating...

Your behaviour is beginning to remind me of young Xbox. Take care, we wouldn't want another meltdown on here......

To be fair, neither does yours, in fact they are probably some of the most expensive, they tend to lure gullibles in with tripe like the TVG and other techniques like telling people comparison sites have been discredited when they havent.

I left E-on to be with Scottish power as E-on were the suppliers in my flat when I moved in, as you are aware you have no choice of supplier when you move into a property, you have to sign up with the suppliers that are there at the time. I would have switched away equally as quick had it been UW, BG or any other supplier for that matter.

Werent you waiting for your cashback from Scottish power before switching to UW?

Gullible have another meaning if its you getting the cashback?

It looks like uw are taking a leaf out of the dodgy mobile phone retailers' cashback manual.

In order to get the £100 back (which the gullibles of course must first pay for themselves via: joining the club, paying the monthly membership fee (what's that for?) and taking 3 services to include the expensive gas and electricity) they must also comply with the strange requirement to read their meters themselves at three very specific times.

Miss a meter reading and they lose all the cashback.

(Or worse, maybe the father of the uw "family" (ie. the rep), now gets 3 more opportunities to do a martini presentation on you and try and sign you up as a rep in his team by using the excuse of "helpfully" pestering you and reminding you to read your meter)

Of course they could save loads more each year than this one off £100 by saying NO when approached by a rep and getting their energy elsewhere!
