  • You probaly missed the original post in this thread by MSE,which said amonst other things"All Telecom Plus Distributers must declare it when they post." I guess from your tirade you most have something to do with them.

You have ignored Forum Etiquette. Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

And you have called one of Telecom Plus,s allies on this site a silly sod.;)

If you are referring to me, it's fine, I've been called much worse on here. And ally? I don't see myself as one, I'm happy to stick up for anyone on here who gets IMO bullied by hypocrites, people who have a go at a UW distributor for involving his/her family & friends and making income from it when these self same people clearly can't be seen to admit on here that they can't be @rsed to get all their family/friends on the cheapest rate for no recompense. In my book, that makes them the very worst kind of hypocrite...

Conmenot that whole post is great and highly quotable but its this bit that really sticks out the most to me..

That is the main problem I have with this company, its technique is questionable at best, with "friends" like that you wouldnt need enemies.

Its not a far cry from some of these dodgy pyramid schemes you hear of, It wouldnt surprise me to see job adverts for UW on railings at busy roundabouts etc. The whole setup seems dodgy to me, wouldnt touch them with a bargepole!

You devote so much time upon inane ramblings, on so many subjects I doubt you'd find any more time to locate your bargepole. Nothing else in your life?
I gave up trying to see how much you complain about..I won't live that long.
Your "dodgy pyramid scheme" will appear in October's Which as the TOP recommendation for changing energy supplier. Not just well up the list but THE TOP. So much for YOUR judgement, eh?
UWDC..Recommended by a leading financial investment publication, as a prime share to buy in a plummetting market!
Did you sue your Economics Tutor for your money back?
Or maybe it was The Conmenot School of Economics
    Streuth! I really do despair!
  • Plushchris once had a run-in with his local Tesco store ( IIRC he even had to have an interview with the store manager) because he was getting so much free stuff from them on account of his 'overuse' of their 'overcharge' guarantee. Like I say, this thread is choc :Dfull of hypocrites.

1carminestocky. Sorry..Silly Sod withdrawn without reservation. I misread the irony and quote, in your message and thinking it was an accusation.
Must keep my wits about me in future..Again..Sorry!
  • Firstly, it was no tirade..Thank you for selecting your vocabulary from my text.
It was an exposure of the unmittigated rubbish spouted in that message which ascended my proboscis, rubbish which was full of inaccuracies and embroideries.
The deaf and blind folk were not "dragged on stage". They were not patronised. They were there to receive recognition of their success, under difficult circumstances not even imagined by hearing-people. Distributors were assured that if these people could make a success, it was available to others.
To undermine yet another cheap shot may I say that the Signers in BSL were there for the benefit of other deaf people in the audience and there would be many, inspired by the guy on stage who was probably well-known to them.
The complainer's ability to "miss the point" is worthy of a gold medal in itself.
Item after item in his unsolicited critique was totally wide of the mark. If I clarify, I'll run out of letters.
The point about "disclosing company policy" reveals his inability to structure an argument. The notion is entirely his own and any suggestion that it is "nonsense" is invented by him and just doesn't follow. It's not valid to generate a non existent criticism and then call it nonsense to score points.
The nonsense is the general platform of his self satisfied clap-trap.
He thinks he is rallying to save the world.. Oh Dear! Another One.
The requirement 'to be nice' is just a trite way of saying "Let anybody make their own, inflammatory verbal attack but don't offend them by pointing it out in public."

    Not a game I play!
You may have seen my apology to 1carminestocky for my error.
On one point, I must agree with him whole-heartedly.
The Bl**** humour from the two presenters, was worse than NAFF.
I hope they sued their scripwriters or may be shot 'em!

It is not unreasonable to expect those rewards to diminish when you stop putting in the effort.
Incorrect. When I am told I will receive a long term residual income on customers I have gathered, I do not expect my pay to go down unless those customers stop taking services and go elsewhere. If just one customer sticks, I should get my commission. The company I have shifted to offers just that, as well as having policies and procedures that are more fair for affiliates.

For the last time (actually, it won't be the last time, of course). I AM NOT AND NEVER HAVE BEEN EITHER A UW DISTRIBUTOR OR CUSTOMER. Don't confuse my interventions on here to stop what I genuinely believe to have escalated into a pack mentality for want of a better description bullying certain individuals with me being in any way involved with the company. I did once look at the opportunity and found little wrong with it (it's not as if any of the Big 6 are shining beacons of virtue, is it, but a newbie would get the impression on here that they seem fine and most of the problems with the energy industry could be laid at the door of a company that probably turns over less than any of the Big 6 spend on advertising per year).

I am more interested in TEP (UW) from a potential investment point of view. Their shares have certainly outperformed the market for a while now. Must be doing something right. Hope this has made my position clear.

I fail to see what thats got to do with anything.

Can you explain how I'm a hypocrite for getting free stuff from Tescos due to their policy but not liking the way UW do business?

I cant see any comparison between the two at all, I got a lot of FREE stuff from Tescos and shared it all with family and friends, as a result our family had one of the best Christmas ever.

Utility warehouse distributers sign family and friends up to UW and make money from them.

Edit: And to clarify, I didnt HAVE to have an "interview" with the store manager, I requested a meeting with him to explain how wrong he was to ban me for his own mistakes.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
