  • we use Utility Warehouse, and I have been reading all the threads about them on here, I went fully armed with all this info to my husband as apparantly it is my job to money save for the household & family, I got him to check if we could go cheaper for our Gas & electricity and the only company to come up cheaper were npower saving us less than £100 per a year. We get our telephone, internet, Gas & Electricity from UW and for the convenience of one bill we are staying put.

We have tried and tested quite a few internet providers and as I use it most days I am more than happy with the service I receive. Im sure we prob could get our telephone cheaper, but again for convenience we are staying put ? ?

Got to admit the times I have spoken with them they have fallen over backwards to help us where as in the past we have had trouble from British Gas, BT and others. I dont work for them I am a stay at home mum.

    Thats their unique selling point.

If your a true money saver and shop around you can beat their prices. Even their distributors will tell you that. This site is after all principally about saving money is it not.;)

I am an exec and customer for over 7 years now. Ive been in the selling for both commercial and domestic suppliers for over 10 years and what i can tell you from my experience is that all companies have their ups and downs. The major problem in this industry is miss selling,i hate it with a passion.
I have to say that ive been very happy with the price and service from UW and the fact that my services are all together as i havent got the time to waste checking if someone else is cheaper for that given month.

I bump into people everyday and always im surprised to hear folks are still getting ripped off in one way or another.

Did you know that UW was the fastest growing company in Europe in 2005,they must be doing something right!

Anyway bit of good advice, always do your own research before comitting yourself.

    Good luck to all.

    More Speil from a T-Plus Distributor !!!!

I took the poster,s advice and carried out some research and discovered the claim to be Europe's fastest growing company was published in a low distribution magazine about 2/3 years ago,and was based on information that was collated in previous 12 months, that is 2003!

There's a long thread on this subject. Some people, as with any company have had bad experiences and said so here. Others have had good experiences and have not been so vociferous. I have been with them for over five years as both customer and Distributor and I have always been satisfied in the end. I believe that the overall deal is good value for money in my circumstances. Others here will point out that you can get various individual services cheaper elsewhere. I suggest you have a look at the switching sites and then check the UWDC prices for your area to see which is the best overall deal for you.
