Tesco Bag Re-use points

This thread has info someone posted on the amount of points you can get for different size bags. I think they said a bag for life was 1-2 points. I suppose they are leaving it to the cashier's discretion as someone might have just one item in a huge bag or they might fill it. However, what each individual store (or cashier) does in practice may vary hence some may always give the maximum and others the minimum.

On the topic of taking bags for use as bin liners, it's probably more moneysaving to buy them at the moment (unless you shop in other stores as well) as each one is effectively costing you 8p with the double points promotion at the moment.

In my local Tesco, they always ask "how many bags have you used?" I always reply with x full bags for life. They normally then add double points (2 for each bag)
