  • I've put $581.00 towards my debt this month, bringing the total I've paid off to $3,985.80. Almost 1/3 there for my goal - and almost 1/5 there for my total debt!
    Since March 2012:
    Paid off: $3,985.80
    Owe: $16,230.44

I attempt to clear all my debts by my 30th birthday at frugalcitygirl.com!

  • Hi everyone.

    Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas.

December is always a very hectic time for me both personally and professionally so I have very lax at keeping my spending spreadsheets up to date. However I have continued to reign in the spending so that I can concentrate on meeting this challenge. Although I couldn't call my Christmas frugal I did keep to my budget, didn't spend anything on cards or gift wrap (used what I bought in the sales last year), used stamps which were bought earlier in the year before the price increase :money:, and best of all used Tesco points to exchange for Goldsmiths vouchers (at 4 for 1) then used these to buy my present from Mum & Dad (new watch) while putting the cash they had given me to this challenge. Great result all round

So having brought my spreadsheet up to date I am delighted to report that during Nov and Dec I paid off

    £4,880.66

This puts me ahead of schedule though January will be challenging as the car will need a service.

I would like to wish everyone a healthy, happy and of course prosperous new year:D

  • Hi, its been awhile :).

I'm unable to post often but am still plugging away at the debt, good to see we're still committed .

A substantial amount of my debt has been cleared but I'm aiming to clear £1433 . Once, I've paid this off I'll be debt free for the 1st time in decades:j. Onwards and upwards and have a fab new year
  • Not been on for ages, but very happy to report that due to the proceeds from my house sale, I am debt free (apart from the mortgage). I am never getting into debt again!
