I dont really want to repeat again, that this is the last resort for everyone. If you dont like what people have done here, go somewhere else. If you want a proper arguement about it , going call some random a thief in the street. If it was stealing we would all be in jail. You can make up laws if you wish.

Sorry but how can you say its not stealing to take something and not pay???

Thats why I said the laws in this country are RIDICULOUS!!!

You have obviously got a huge bee in your bonnet about this - perhaps I have hit a raw nerve - have I made you feel guilty for something?

Erm, no. I called it as I saw it I'm afraid.

I bet the OP feels so much better knowing that people are taking risks with her money!!!!

I think the guy that didn't pay the OP for the work done is a pile of $hite and I genuinely hope her legal action results at some point in her recovering the money owed.

I'm struggling here though to explain in terms simple enough for you to understand that there is a world of difference between the majority of people on this thread who are struggling with bankruptcy as a result of failed businesses, lost jobs or illness and some guy who pulled a fast one on some unsuspecting trader; naturally my sympathies are with the OP.

I'm really enjoying playing with somebody as naive as you, it takes my mind off the problems associated with bankruptcy.

    With love and kisses xx

    Hi there,

There's nothing wrong with that, you did actually raise an interesting question. I think you have probably misunderstood the history and motivation behind the people who post on this forum. There are lots of people like yourself who have run small businesses and for whatever reason have found themselves with no alternative but to declare or be forced into bankruptcy.

My wife and I have run a number of successful businesses over the years, paid hundreds of thousands in taxes, employed hundreds of people and exported goods all over the world. You can imagine how we feel when we're compared to some "wide boy" who has work done and then doesn't pay for it.

It's an unwarranted and unfair comparison. It doesn't bother me personally but I can understand why it bothers other people in our situation. The only regret I've got is that I didn't take another £200k of the banks money and bury it on a desert island somewhere.

As for posters like MrsBee, well, they're good for a laugh.

    MrsBees,

Believe me, you're really not capable, you carry on with your safe, boring, unimaginative, blinkered, diminishing little life. Leave wealth creation and enterprise to people with character and motivation.

I suspect that in common with a lot of genuine people on this site our achievements and efforts will be remembered long after we've departed this world; sadly, you appear to have the character and vision of something less than a glass of water.

Thats right. Although you have no idea what I do, so you cant really comment on my character and vision - I think you would be surprised...;)

But at least I will go to my grave knowing that I helped people NOT STOLE FROM THEM.

Oh and wealth creation and enterprise??? :rotfl: If thats what you call it then I would rather be me.
