BE There Broadband

I've been waiting weeks for Virgin Media installation team to come and see if my flat is suitable for installation. I'm in Central London, not exactly the middle of nowhere! I've given up now.

I've heard BE There are very good. Does anyone have experience with them - good speeds and reliability?

And does anyone have any voucher codes for them? I can get £45 cash back from Top Cashback. I believe a current user can intro me and we both get money off? Would anyone like to do this?

Or is there another provider who is better? I need unlimited downloads.

Thanks!

Do you have an existing BT-based landline?
Can you get BE on your exchange?-they are an LLU only supplier.
What are your other LLU options? Do an exchange search on www.samknows.com
PS: if you want to solicit referrals you'll have to use the referrals board-it's not allowed on here.

  • Thanks Macman, I will search out the referrals board!

We don't have a landline, but the previous tenants used Be There, so it is possible. I'll check out SamKnows too - thanks!

Then there must be a landline there (even if currently disconnected).
O2 own BE and will generally be cheaper.

I'm with BE. There have been a few issues recently for some people, but in general the service is very good. (I have not been affected). Customer services for BE is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, but any time I've had to deal with them they have been excellent. BE staff also peruse the BE member's forum to pick up any issues or questions.

They do have a referral scheme, whereby the referrer and the referree both get a one-off discount (£15 or so).

I see you've already been to the Referrers board. :)
