drawing upside down!

I have an art book that talks a little about drawing upside down. Apparantly when an image is turned upside down our brain processes it differently, even if the image is familiar, and we tend to concentrate on light, shadows, and shapes. Drawing this way is supposed to produce better results than drawing the right way up. Perhaps you have a budding Picasso in the family!0

my brother is an art teacher so i shall be asking him if she's a budding Picasso when i see him thanks for that!:rotfl: :rotfl: (the drawings are very good for a three year old but i put that down to her being the second child copying her sister, after saying that i was the youngest of four with half the family including dad being very good artists but i have always been useless no matter how hard i try to draw!!!!!!!!)Aldeney wrote:I have an art book that talks a little about drawing upside down. Sounds like your daughter might have a natural talent for it as copying isn't as easy as it sounds. Like you I have an artistic family but my mum can't draw for toffee but I'm sure, like my mum, you have other talents (a great mum to your kids being one of them )0
