It's pretty hard to tell if a call is a scam or not when they've got your details and call themselves Sky. Anyway, I was caught off-guard and they got me for a month. Just had a call from this mob - she told me who they were (didn't pretend to be Sky -that's something!!!) and said that my warranty was about to expire.
I just told her that I don't take out maintenance contracts and rang off - wondered why they had phoned at this time - then I realised that my box is exactly 3 years old , so they must have contacts within Sky or the Sky fitters.
