I have washed lots of furniture, cleaned the lampshades and lamps, cleaned the mirrors and moved some stuff back. Second load of washing in. First is dry. Utility room no longer smells of white spirit.
Think I need to light a fire, make some supper, read for a bit then have a bath and an early night. Lots to do tomorrow...0 -
well!
I have reclaimed my dining room:D:D:D:D:D:D
random flinging (it's a what on earth am I going to do with THAT? why did I hang on to THAT? situation) is going on.
and I am in the process of repairing the tube for the cylinder vacuum. The upright has gone into meltdown (much like Peter Kay's Rich Tea failing the dunk test) at the fluff and the cylinder tube is now 3" shorter and has been re-attached with superglue (for every problem there's an engineering solution;))
let's hope it sticks - because I cannot afford a new vacuum...

Morning All
Cub District Gala last night which ended a lot later than I anticicpated. Dh didn't get home from work until lunchtime yesterday so I didn't manage to get a lot done yesterday afternoon. Food shopping today and whatever else I manage to get done. First job is to move the chip wrappers that everyone seems to have abandoned on the side in the kitchen.
Have a good day all
Hugs

Morning all, i've got an awful sore throat it's being going on now 3 weeks.... DS1 still has a blocked ear so i'll get us both booked in with the doctor this week.
Not much done yesterday, spent it chasing people who should have been here last week. So floor and painter should be here towards the end of this week.
Kids all up and they'll be going to sunday school, then i need to leave OH over to an airsoft shoot, then back to lift kids. I'll get the dw and wm on before i leave. Plan is to get our bedroom and kitchen done while OH is away and then kids bathed and bathroom cleaned when OH is back..
Hope everyone has a good day xx
P.S thanks for all the ''get a grip'' vibes, the HTT have decided there is no point nor need to get SS out.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

I am working on decluttering and putting away rather than cleaning, slow work but huge impact. The sun is shining though and I would rather be outside.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Washing on, breakfast eaten. Need to get dressed, hang the washing out and stick another load on and then go to the farmers' market, drop of my suit at the cleaners and pick up my duvets before spending the rest of the day in the garden.
Good luck with the decluttering hex!0 -
Through scrub of the shower instead of the usual S&S - looks much better.
Impressive how mess expands to fit the available space. I can't make a cup of tea till I clear some space on the new worktops.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
