The google satnav use data. You will either need big data plane or pay to use data.
Also Google Satnav is no good if you are planning to travel outside the UK as the data use will kill you in £.

The Tomtom is one of the best satnav in the market.

    More rubbish.

Google satnav has been caching data for the last few versions.

I would also argue that Sygic products are far far far superior to Tom Tom in terms of quality and value. Available on all good android phones and the iPhone.

Or are you a Tom Tom fan boy as well?

Google satnav has been caching data for the last few versions. As long as you stay on the same route.

I would also argue that Sygic products are far far far superior to Tom Tom in terms of quality and value. Available on all good android phones and the iPhone.

You being anti tomtom and pro Sygic, makes you Sygic fanboy
You being pro android boy makes you android fanboy otherwise known as android religion.

Do you pray to Larry Page?

As you can see I have a TomTom too, but it sees little to no use since I installed Sygic on my Satio and then Wildfire , bargain at £30 and gives a 3D image around city centres

Known by whom? "Android religion" is your invention that nobody around knows anything about.
    So is "Sygic fanboy".

You seem to have run out of any real arguments and started labeling everyone around as a last resort.

And who the hell is this Larry?

Being a MSE what's the point of keeping tomtom?
Why don't you sell it on eBay since you are not using it and get some £?

Perhaps for the same reason you choose to keep the iphone, the reality is they are not fetching much on the previously owned market.
Since you can get new standalone units for £37 from Asda then it is cheaper to give it away.

I have checked the Asda and cant see any tomtom for £37.00
Your tomtom on eBay is going for £45.00. Since you dont use it, its £45 for nothing.
