Is a bad job better than no job at all?

it depends how well you cope. You don't seem to enjoy unemployment at all and need a sense of purpose. If I were you, I'd take any job over no job. Other people may react differently.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
Oh gosh - it's all a bit deep for a sunny Sunday
Are we talking about deep dissatisfaction or appalling working conditions?
Perception is reality - what is dissatisfying to one surely can be appalling to another....
I can't say I was ever overjoyed to get up on a Sunday to clean pub loos especially in a certain Scottish city where needles were a regular hazard (not to mention everything else that comes out of a human body) - but to many others it would have been appalling and not a place they felt that they would work in....
That's the issue here isn't it - what is acceptable and what's not?0 -
I don't know how anyone can be happy with no job.
You can't be, its impossible I think, but when your dealing with unemployment and bad jobs your really floating around the bottom of the happiness scale anyway, neither are ideal. But what one person classes as a bad job another may love, we are all different, I think its important to work at something you love or have at least an interest in or your only making your life a misery unnecessarily.0 -

Just bear in mind that every month spent unemployed, decreases the chances of you getting the job you want when the opportunity comes along. Employers prefer workers and tryers.0 -

In an ideal world we'd all do what we love, but in reality we have to grin and bear it with whatever comes our way, and if all else fails we have Prozac and Sertraline.0 -
I bet you lot (who don't want the 'bad jobs' - whatever they are - and prefer life on benefits) also love a good old moan about the "foreigners what come and take our jobs, innit".Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

But I believe that everyones perception of a bad job is different as stated my idea is wearing a shirt and tie is my idea of a bad job. But i wouldn't be adverse to putting arm down a toilet to unblock it.
Can't say i have ever moaned about the foreigners that have jobs more power to them.0 -
I cant say I've ever moaned about foreigners either, I never see any
