There has been so much media hype about people who have received benefits for years without review that the knee-jerk reaction has been to ensure that everyone is subject to regular checks. I don't know how much this will cost versus money saved...
Of course we'll get politicians on telly proudly proclaiming they've saved x amount of money by taking people off these benefits but they'll not tell us how much it's cost to do so.Dum Spiro Spero0 -
With the cost of medicals, decision makers, paperwork, staff and the endless appeals when wrong decisions have been made etc etc I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't actually save any money.
