No.
BTW, I love the way you stalk my posts trying to get little digs in at every opportunity.
lol i think this is the first time i have ever responded to one of your posts without you initiating it!
The usual situation is you start ranting at me about something ridiculous and petty and then throw your toys out the pram when i argue back at youThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

:rotfl:
Are you suggesting that I have you under some sort of remote control and that you normally respond to my posts because I make you do it?
Was this your attempt to stop that happening? There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

Nope i'm not suggesting that at all, its just pretty obvious from your posting history that you like to start arguments with other posters and basically be difficult. Therefore when you act like a prat with me I always respond. In hindsight its my own fault for biting every time. However you do love to troll and you're often successful so fair play! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

OK, so when I want to argue a point it's because I just like to be difficult but when you do it it's because of some selfless, noble, imperative you feel to set the record straight.
Gotcha. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

Yeah thats right. You're basically a forum bully who likes to pick on other posters. I of course like most people don't like bullies so tend to respond when you start kicking off.
Am I right that you are quite an old person? I put you down as someone who is retired? I base this on the fact I don't think you work and some of your views/opinions are pretty old fashioned. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Not particularly old, but it's interesting that I have always had you down as an old and very bitter person who feels somewhat hard done by at the way life has treated him and who finds it hard to understand why people disagree with with his views which, in his own mind, are so obviously beyond dispute.
You are also one of that curious breed of obsessives who will argue a point until the cows come home but always assume that it's the other person who is the argumentative one and that your own incessant posting is somehow exempt from being classified as argumentative. (Whereas I freely admit to liking a nice, long, discussion.)There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

The irony with this statement is that you weren't happy last Sunday when I refused to get into a long winded argument with you about race/gender. If I was such a "curious breed of obsessive" then I would have happily argued to the cows come home!
Incidentally I am not remotely bitter, its a lovely day so i'm sat in the garden working from home. I couldn't be in a better mood! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
It is sad.
It's not just this site either.
On virtually every site you will get people who never post anything helpful but love to dive in and criticise and belittle.
And people who are very knowledgeable but believe this gives them the right to behave in an obnoxious manner to anyone to whom they happen to take a dislike.
Have to say I was highly amused to see them having a go at someone in another thread and accusing them of being insensitive. I think Pot found Kettle there

I like how this thread started as an apparent dig at Virgin's seemingly uncaring attitude, then quickly descended into an argument about how one person's E-penis is larger than the others?
Bonkers, absolutely bonkers. You've gotta love the internet!0
