Is this right way to put money in Santander ISA?

Hello guys... on Thursday I went to Santander branch and applied for ISA issue9 of %3.30.
The guy printed me a paper shows sort code and account number and told me that I can deposit the money by either transfer it from other non-Santander account or do it through my other bank online banking.
so i went home and transferred the money like if I’m sending money to another person account.
is this method right? or I need to fill deposit form or something? this my first ISA ever and not transferring old ISA.
He said he will send me a card to use it if I want to withdraw money.
But how about checking it online? are they going to send me log in or somthing?

yes you send it via faster payments/ bacs to the sort code and account number given.0

I know this is your first ISA so this is OK.
However in future when your ISA rate drops you'll need to complete a transfer form from the new provider asking them to do the transfer on your behalf and not do it yourself.0 -
Thank you guys0
