Im starting looking again just in case this one doesnt go my way....

I spoke to the agency guy last night and the companys HR and IT managers are still deliberating and have cut the numbers down but sounds like Im still very much in it!

Mind you if I dont get it, it will be the 3rd time in a row Ive got to the final hurdle and missed out

I have to say I have never been able to decide if it is best to know you "came second" or just be told you didnt get it... especially if being one of the first rejected means that you get to hear sooner.

Well, interview 2 for this week starts in 75 mins so better start considering getting dressed :)

Will do.... not sure if I want the job at all.... on paper it sounds great but I know others with the same job title in a different area and it isnt anything like what the this job spec says. Could be just the differences between areas of the company or could be the job spec doesnt reflect reality... hopefully can work it out in the interview.

Well, there was a waste of time.... after sitting in the interview room with the HR director having a chat waiting for the appointing manager to turn up and actually do the interview one of the HR managers came in looking very sheepish saying that they had just found a message sent yesterday morning cancelling the interview but it had got lost on her desk.
