Just a straw poll to satisfy a discussion I had earlier today.
- Have you had a pay rise/drop this year, or last year?
- If so how much (as an approx percentage)

Last year's pay rise is still under negotiation. Latest offer is 3% backdated to 1st Oct 2011, plus another 3% for this year from 1st October 2012.0

My salary has gone up year on year but only because I changed roles to move onto higher grades - the last time I had a proper pay rise (the sort that's supposed to adjust your wage to reflect inflation) was about 4 years ago when we had 1%Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
