You are probably making a bigger issue of this than is necessary. I am confident the Experian approach will be successful. Partly because they know the correct dept to write (or email) to. As did stclair.:) The first letter (to "stclair's address") need not have been a complaint, but simply a request. Any failure would create grounds for a complaint.0 -
These two are the only full searches I've had this year. And I'm not planning on applying anywhere for the next few months anyway. Only needed a Barclays account because of contactless and mobile + gadget insurance.
I'll try writing to Barclays once I get my account details and if Experian can't manage to rectify the issue. Else I'll just drop it. It's only one additional search anyway.
Still, slightly !!!!ed with the guy at the new account department. Trying to come up with just about any excuse to fob me off. Wish he could have though of something more convincing lolz.0
