It's been a beautiful day today, me, DH and DD2 went to nearby town for Saturday market and had a potter. Picked up two tops in a sale and a bargainous brand new bbq in a shop which recycles goods and gives opportunities to disabled and unemployed, they must get new goods now as well! :T
Then got a bag of bbq meat from the meat van and had a delish bbq - spring has definately sprung in North Wales. Loads of steak, sausage and ribs in the freezer for next time and cooked the chicken for tomorrow at the same time as we pre-cooked the ribs for the bbq. (p.s. how many times can you get the letters bbq into one statement??:D)
Not much OS other than DD2 clearing and washing her floordrobe.
Hugs

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Not posted for a very long time, but do lurk from time to time. Was poorly for a couple of years but am good just now. Very pleased with myself! Bought a K. Chef on e bay for £20. My DH serviced it and replaced some parts. Works great. Also got grater/shredder and liquidiser for £13 on e bay. Should have done it years ago. I can do coleslaw chopped nice and fine, despite arthritic fingers. Total magic ! Done some bread to day as well, and used it for my omlette. I reckon if I leave it out, I will be using it for everything. Enjoying my bargain loads. Lovely to be back on OS. My love to everyone. XXX0

Hi all, hope you've had a good day.
I've been feeling a little under the weather so haven't managed to get anything done. Add to my general malaise the fact that I had the worst job interview this week (I was interviewed by the most sexist man I've ever come across), I'm pretty demotivated atm. Seems like I'm stuck in a bit of a rut AND I've managed to overspend this month.MFW 2019 #61: £13,936.60/£20,0000 -
You lot make me feel tired with all your activity. I went next door this morning for the coffee morning and cake stall. Sold all my cakes and 40 Easter chicks. Came home and sat down to recover. 9 people drifted in and out for the next couple of hours. the last visitors left just after 2 by which time I was exhausted. Managed to make bread and clear up the worst of the household chaos - at least the bits visitors see - and do a little bit of ironing. Not the way I had planned today, but when is it ever?
Lou: I hope your DS enjoyed his birthday and feels better soon - you too.
Better get to bed as my mind and body have parted company and we lose an hour tonight. I must have as much strength as I can summon up for the usual hectic Sunday.

Just off to bed for a read, I watched part of the Britains Got Talent show tonight ,what a lovely voice that young man had, and how nice was it to see all the sneerers change their tune when he opened his mouth and sang so beatifully.
I predict he will go far, to have such a talent at 17 lets hope he doesn't lose that seemingly nice nature that goes with it as well, and what a lovely lass the girl with him is, to see beyond his appearance and to realise what's inside of him
I do hope he gets on well in the show
Good night God bless all here
