    The simple answer is No.

But there are a few workaround ways of doing it. Probably the most strightforward way is to withdraw cash on the other card and use that to pay the first card.

Goes without saying that something is not right in their finances if it has come down to borrowing from Peter to pay Paul.

But also an expensive way of doing it!

    Agreed.

The cheapest way of doing it is to make the credit card payment on your debit card even though it may not leave enough in your bank account for the following month.

Then restore the bank balance by putting more transactions through the credit card in the following month - items you would normally pay by debit card, cheque or cash.

I know of one credit card issuer who if you go online to your account can pay with your credit card.

I have a balance on this account with a low interest rate so I use my other credit card to pay the monthly payment. That way I get another 50odd days interest free AND cashback for it

The other work around is CC to Paypal to debit card which you can then pay the other card.

How would this work? I'm probably being dim but I don't see an option to transfer money to Paypal from my CC, Barclaycard. And is this an expensive option?

I believe you will send a payment to yourself as if you were someone else purchasing goods through Paypal. So you will have to make a donate button for your account and then pay yourself with it, although you will be charged 3.4% + 20p for the transaction.

Although that's my guess work :)
