This is the approach we tried initially and it hasn't worked. I was hoping that someone on here would have had personal experience of something that worked.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I take it you have blotted in with paper towels with no luck. I think you should go get a specialist cleaning solution like stain devils. Here is a link to the website for hints on stain removal.

I did this (black polish on a cream carpet!) The best thing was a weak solution of bio washing powder, sponged on and blotted up, several times.
