How can you be new to the UK, but have been renting the property for 2 years?

I agree with the previous posters I'm afraid, this seems a bit dodgy to me.
  • I have my reading between the lines glasses on.

The OP seems to be saying....

" I have lots of debt and collectors keep chasing me, I give them a different names to put them off the scent.

Will changing my name on the V5 put them off chasing me?

If it put my car in someone elses name will it be less likely to get towed or clamped especially as i dont like paying for parking, tax, mot's or insurance?
    "

Sorry, your glasses were very dirty when you have read, because

    a) I've never changed my nam
    b) I've never been in trouble with the debt collectors
    c) I was renting and I've been knocked the door for the previous tenant as I said
    d) Once again, I confirm to be new in the UK. I've been living here since 2 years and half. So I'm "new" because I was born somewhere else where I lived until I left. Hence, a lot of stuff are still not clear to me and I'd like to learn about the english culture / system.
  • I think this thread should be boycotted.

For all we know the op who is clearly foreign could be a terrorist thinking about using a vehicle for his evil deeds.

I appreciate the fact that England and UK have been targeted by terrorist in the past, but trust me this is not my case. I even don't have a car here!

So I don't foresee how can I make a terrorist attack as you're wrongly stating.

Should I send you and all the other participant to this thread my proof of Identity so to convince you about my good faith.

Ah no, you'll will probably object that I scraped the ID from someone else.
Just tell me what do I need to convince you this is a genuine conversation I'm having because I've been living in UK since 2.5 years and what I want is just understand better the UK and his culture / system.

I'm curious and I strongly believe the integration can happen only if you know the system. On the other way, if you don't know, it looks like you want to cheat it. And this is not what I want as I respect comes above all.

And I also found it very unfair you accuse me to be a "terrorist" without even knowing who I am.

Please, read the two previous answers to understand "why I am new to the UK".

Hopefully it makes sense to you.
  • I don't understand how anyone can learn to spell so well but cannot string a decent sentence together:cool:

Clearly you are referring to me ... because I'm still learning the language. I'm quite good in picking up the spelling, but I tend to do quite a few english mistakes again.
I really want my colleagues pick me up so to allow me learning, but they don't.

If I did some mistake, please feel free to rephrase my sentence, and help me understand the errors I did. You will certainly contribute to have another stranger around that speak with a bad accent and awful grammar. :)

    @Sgt Pepper
from a thread and from people where illegitimately have accused me to be a terrorist or a spammer ... I think that I can expected everything.
So I don't think it's just a matter to be stupid, but a matter to make a reference or quote, that's something the user didn't.

And as I know my weakness, I thought something have been not accurately written.

I'm here to learn, and to exchange opinion. If this is not the case of the forum I will leave without difficulties from the same door I used to enter.

For all we know the op who is clearly foreign could be a terrorist thinking about using a vehicle for his evil deeds. All seems a bit iffy to me.

While I know the answers the op is seeking (I've worked in parking for years) I smell a rat here so I'm keeping my gob shut.

Oh take your tin hat off you muppet.

You think terrorists are so thick they use an internet forum
like this to get answers on how to plan their attacks.

Pitty you didn't keep your gob shut before rambling about
such nonsense. Keep it up and the men in white coats will
    come and get you.
