Freeview Question

Hey all,
Question regarding potential costs and installation of Freeview.
Currently we are with Virgin Media. Costs are increasing and lets face it, with the TV of today, it's really not worth it anymore, everything is a copy of everything else, and paying almost £50.00 a month for it is pointless. Only really watch the Discovery channel for documentaries. And thanks to the internet I can watch F1 for free when the BBC aren't covering races live so thats fine.
It will be Freeview only, cheapest, but best value. Rarely record TV anymore, Freeview+ therfore pointless, and HD is rather useless unless you have a TV over 50 inches (in my experience).

- What is the average cost of a Wideband Roof Aerial.
- Is it possible to have this connected into two different rooms? Living Room and Bedroom upstairs, and roughly how much would that be.
- Any horror stories when it comes to Freeview?

London prices for standard semi £165-200 aerial to one room, extra rooms £40-70.

Or go the Freesat route for a similar price. Either way, you'll recoup the cost in about 3 months. No free lunch, and no free laptop
