Need help with my talktalk contract

TalkTalk sort of tricked me into signing a broadband-home phone contract for 18 months.
Now 4 months into the contract my broadband and home phone have stopped working. I tried to contact Talk talk many many times and they have been less than helpful.
As a result I have not had working internet or a landline for 2 weeks.
I have now complained to Talk Talk about my treatment but again they have not helped me to resolve the problem at all.
I need some help here. Is there any way that I can get out of this contract without them black listing me everywhere?
Does anyone know what I should do next?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

they cant blacklist you everywhere, they cant even put defaults on your credit file.
Just move to a new company, but if they have suspended the line it may cost you for a new installation since talktalk use LLU services.0 -
Do you know why BT Openreach have not been booked to look into your problem?
Bear in mind that if they do come out and the problem is found to be beyond the master socket you could be charged up to £160.
Have you tried connecting a corded phone to your test socket in order to confirm that the fault is not at your end? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
If the fault is on the local loop or in yor equipment, then switching ISP would not make any difference. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
