i would actually write to my GP and say to him/her that the staff at the JCP says that im on the wrong medication and that if i had the correct medical treatment i could do national minimum wage jobs part time. would you please care to write back your medical opinion on this matter regarding my treatments and current treatment.
then produce this to a manager in a IN RESPONSE TO WFI ON XYZ DATE, to you employee suggesting that i was on the wrong medication etc etc i here provide a copy of my GP's proffesional medical opinion on the subject matter and watch the steam puff out of their ears with shame and anger.0 -
did they give medical advice? all down to interpretation of the OP (who will be biased human nature dictates that).
eg
People can work with IBS - have you checked your meds with your GP if you want to work
or
You need to get your meds changed from xx to yy and then you can work
two different things. IMO I see the worker as motivation in an area that everyone who posts on here say they want to to work - so not unreasonable to give a bit motivation. can't excuse the medication etc - but if OP isn't on meds (for eg) only maybe taking paracetamol then although overstepping barriers (not disputing that) a bit of positive thinking and a suggestion to seek help from your GP is hardly the same as harrassment and bullying to the extent you can't do it again.
People (workers) are human - some will approach differently. As someone who may be ill yet doesn't consider themselves disabled (at this point) or unable to work, personally I'd really rather have had OP's advisor, I;d have came out full of beans that life isn't as bad as i thought - there is a future for me - maybe not yet - but not to rule it out.0 -

Then the JCP will deny that the conversation ever happened!0 -
She didn't agree that I wasn't fit for work. My Atos report said " longstanding problem unlikely to improve in the longer term" and prognosis was 2 years.Even though she was ok she made me feel worthless.princessdon wrote: »I read it as motivation - they never failed their test or denied their benefit.
Puzzled as to why someone trying to be positive would result in Op saying they can't do another interview. Op admits they were nice and pleasant, none threatening and in the end agreed with them that at present they are not fit for work.0
