is anyone having problems with hotmail ,or is it just me

I tried to open my emails yesterday and I cant get any to open, same again this morning, yet my OH can read his via the iphone.
Is it a problem with my laptop or is it with hotmail.

Dont know how to find this out.

If your OH can read theirs, then it indicates a problem on your laptop or your account.
What do you mean by 'can't open'-do you mean that you can't log in?
Can you log in on another machine?

i can log in fine but when i try to view the messages they wont open.

Just gone into hotmail via my outlook and no problems here so not sure what is going on, at least now i can read my emails

Emails in Outlook are downloaded to your PC. In Hotmail you are just viewing them via webmail. Different things.

Same problem here - I cannot access Hotmail or get new emails on my laptop but I can get them on my iPhone - the service appears to be experiencing some disruption according to http://downrightnow.com/hotmail

Neighbour had same problem, could sign in (ie and firefox), but when on the inbox, no mails opened and some buttons not working. Another account on same machine worked, as did both accounts on netbook.

Cured whatever the problem was by doing a restore to the day before problem happened.

Mine went off this morning shortly after 9am but is still working on my iphone..... bit weird....... tried logging into hotmail on IE, Firefox etc but it wont even bring up the log in screen

I saw this earlier in the week. I think they have had a few changes.

In the URL change http:// to https://

You should find that will work
