O2 iPhone app
Hi. I recently moved from iPhone contract to simplicity. I don't remember how many minutes or texts I have got, but I got 500mb off Internet. I have been using those allowances almost a month, and I always keep an eye on a progress in app provided by them. Now I have £7 charge for voice calls ( as it shows in the app) and I still have 100 minutes and 20 sms 200mb. Progress was showing with minutes and Internet. Numbers of SMS never changed. And as I never subscribed to any thing, never opened any links, and I only made calls in uk numbers. In my opinion there is something wrong with the app, as it show some wrong stats and I went over the limit. What should I do about it?

The data on the app is not always up to date, better bet is to bookmark the web page (this is what I used before discovering the app last week, I suspect the call charges are for none inclusive numbers rather than exceeding your allowance.0

I think the app just shows the current status of your O2 account.
Not all calls come from your allowance. This can explain £7 charge with 100 minutes remaining. Check the itemisation. There are many UK numbers that are not covered by the allowance.
And the phone is using the mobile data without asking you unless you switch the data off. Even the O2 app itself is using mobile data.0 -

If the OP uses the wap.02.co.uk/myallowance then the data used is not deducted from the allowance, not sure if the app is the same, my data is always on 100% as I'm on unlimited, since I'm on an old simplicity tariff
