Factually incorrect as usual. O2 traffic management details here.

It doesn't for existing users on old legacy plans as stated on many posts on the offer aforementioned

    So why state:

You should have noticed by now that if you post bovine excreta on here, it quickly gets pointed out.

    Just stick to factual information!

^ thanks - just rang them and after I gave my number and postcode they said "I'm sorry but you're outside our network area but that's not a problem sir as we can provide our access pakage"

That's great, how much is that - I'm an O2 mobile customer!
    "£22.50 per month"

    That's a bit more than £4/month.

The most you should pay is £11, not £22

Some of us also don't want to be tied to a 12/24 month contract. Especially on all of these deals that offer x half price, or whatever. The sheer number who flock over will affect your service. Even back down to the old days of 24/7 free dial up, 2 hr redials. As soon as my isp did those offers, I'd run off to somewhere else.

I don't mind paying a bit more, imo you get a better service, and there is no true free unlimited usage. It works on acceptable usage, rather than an advertised limit. It also depends on what you do with your internet too... Every isp retains the right to determine themselves what is considered acceptable. (isp/broadband, or even mobile)

Bah we need an isp overhaul. We need someone to take that first step, and offer us truly unlimited internet so we can take advantage of all these proper internet devices that we have. Not have to moderate, and worry about when the next bill comes in, and whether we'll get our service limited, or over charged due to going over cus we used out internet tv to watch the weeks worth of Eastenders, or Coro Street.

    More rubbish!

You are obviously out of your depth again trying advise on O2 broadband.

grumpycrab can only get O2 Access broadband, which everyone else knows is not worth having - pathetic download limit and traffic management.

She said I would get it half price for the 20MB package but as I'd be on "access" that's an 8MB service and there's no offers on that (apart from any cashback I'd get for switching). Perhaps I'll try later and see what a different rep. says.

You really are quite thick aren't you.

O2 Access packages are not mentioned on that page!

You don't know what O2 Access broadband is do you?

Why do you post on topics that you obviously don't know anything about.
